Studio & Mac Lab
The Printmaking Studio is a space for exploring the traditional printmaking techniques of intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, and relief. It is an open space which allows anyone who enters to observe and understand the equipment and techniques.
The studio is equipped with the following equipment:
three intaglio presses
a table top Kelsey letterpress
a Challenge Proof Press
a four-color silkscreen printing press
a one color silkscreen printing press
3 metal linocut presses
large drying rack
papermaking tools
glass slab tables for inking
a separate, enclosed darkroom containing a UV light/vacuum exposure unit, photo enlargers, and washout sinks and storage
abundant workspace, including ample table space and a large critique wall for prints
Stickball's Mac Lab includes high-speed Internet connections, a laser printer, video and photography equipment, and appropriate art, design, and video software.
